The Tomás Max Memorial Shield Camógie Tournament was held in the Town Park last Friday 23rd July. The competing teams were: Kilruane, Drom, Moycarkey and the home-side Borrisoleigh.
The competition was keenly fought with Moycarkey emerging as the final victors. Fiona Max presented the memorial shield and thanked everyone for their attendance at the event. Refreshments were provided in the pavilion giving everyone the opportunity to chat and recall the memory of the late Tomás Max.
Fiona makes the presentation of The Memorial Shield to the Moycarkey captain and says a few words on the occasion of the Tournament in honour of her late husband Tomás
