Borrisoleigh Active Social Club

Some of the Borrisoleigh Active Social Club members at the Semple Stadium tour recently.

A group of our members were invited by Tipperary GAA Health Well Being Committee to a behind the scenes Tour of Semple Stadium Field of Legends last week. It was very enjoyable and interesting to understand the day to day running of the Stadium.

They met with members of the Tipperary County Camogie team and management and we wish them all the best in their All Ireland Semi final next Saturday against Waterford. There was a member of the Tipperary senior hurling team talking about the itinerary around match games.

Thanks to everybody involved and we look forward to our next trip to Semple Stadium on a match day.

Names are still being taken for our next day trip. We are organising a mystery tour within the County. Names and payment of €40(includes bus, tea & scones and evening meal) must be made no later than Tues July 25th. Contact Eileen on 087 9849848 or Lucia on 086 3961211.

Chair Yoga and Meditation

There is active retirement Chair Yoga and Meditation in the Community Centre, Borrisoleigh at 11am on Thursday mornings. They are run in 4 week blocks, the latest started on Thursday 14th of July. To book ring Nora Shanahan on 087-1473457.

Rockshield Programme

The Rockshield Programme recently launched its First Edition on Emotional Wellbeing. This is a step by step guide on how to manage your wellbeing, which we all know is vitally important. Books are available for sale. Contact Joe Ryan, Moakland, Upperchurch on 087 4549564.
